Week 36 Update

How far along? 36 weeks
{PS isn't this shirt awesome?! My mother-in-law got it for me from Gap maternity...super cute and doesn't make me look that pregnant at all. Crazy!}

Size of baby? Romaine Lettuce.

Bed Rest Update: Technically...I'm DONE! However, I'm still being told to take it easy. Check out the labor signs section below.

Baby Development This Week: Shedding the hair that covered her body throughout pregnancy and packing on the pounds.

Total weight gain/loss: 28 lbs.

Stretch marks? None.

Sleep: Continues to be horrible, however last night I had my best sleep in months. I woke up every 2-3 hours, went back to sleep very quickly every time except once. During that moment I had to bust out a foot massage machine {okay...it's really for your shoulders} and read for about 10 mins but then back to sleep. Amazing...

Best pregnancy moment this week: Making it to my second baby shower and going out for dinner and dessert last night with my husband {taking advantage while it's still just the two of us}.

Miss Anything? Still looking forward to getting my body back to myself. I love you little miss but I look forward to holding you in my arms instead.

Food cravings: Same as last week - fruit and chocolate {just not together}.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope.

Symptoms/Labor Signs: Yes - dilating/effacing more each week {probably more like each day at this point}. Yesterday I had contractions throughout the day. I have had significantly less contractions today but still having some pressure and discomfort all without much activity. My midwife said that if she was a betting woman she would not count on my making it to my due date.

Let's see if we can make "full term" which is 37 weeks...but it's okay if we don't! If she's ready, then I'm ready.

Looking forward to: Meeting my little daughter. As much as I would like her to stay in there longer, I'm really excited to finally meet her! So if you want to come soon little lady that's okay.
