She just keeps rollin'

Little lady has discovered how to roll from her back to her belly {albeit only to her left at the moment} and she does it almost every time you set her down. Glance away for one second and FLIP! there she goes.

One problem...she seems to have forgotten how to roll back.

After enjoying her self-created tummy time she starts to get frustrated. "Rahhh-rahhh-garrr-awww!!!" or whatever she says as she's eating her hand, arching that cute tush in the air, and doing pretty much every flexion motion to counteract rolling from her tummy to her back again.

This isn't a huge problem during the day but last night she decided multiple times to voice her displeasure with extended tummy time. It was almost like she woke up on her belly and was screaming "WHAT THE HECK??!! HOW DID I GET HERE?!!" Oh baby memory spans. I went in twice to flip her back over between 2 and 3 AM. Of course she just rolls right over again.

Little Lady, you've let me sleep through the night EVERY NIGHT since that first week in December. Don't mess with mama's sleep now...{just kidding...kind of...still love her...not looking forward to teething...}

The good 'ole PT in me is trying to practice the proper sequence from rolling tummy to back with her before she gets frustrated in an effort to speed along this skill. Up until now I had been pretty good at not pushing my kiddo to acquire skills before she's ready. However, I really don't want to have to go roll her back over multiple times in the middle of the night so we're making an exception and practicing this one till she gets it.

Anyone else been through this experience?
